I just got back from the beach, where I read Ingo by the seaside. I can't imagine a more appropriate book to read at the beach - I could almost hear the ocean calling me! Stay tuned for a review.

I'm a life-long reader of fantasy and science fiction and a fan of children's and YA literature. I'm also a homeschooling parent, a martial artist (Aikido) and a bona-fide computer geek. I've been the Fantasy and Science Fiction category organizer for the Cybils awards for the last two years. My publishing company, Imaginator Press, currently publishes The Remin Chronicles middle-grade fantasy series, written by my husband Nick Ruth.

I loved it, too. I guess I'll have to wait a while for the sequel, though. Ingo just came out this month in the U.S.
