In case you missed it, the 13th Carnival of Children's literature is up now on Jen Robinson's Book Page. Jen did an awesome job organizing an interesting and highly readable carnival, with short descriptions of each entry to make it easy to decide what "rides" to partake in. There's lots of good reading there!

I'm a life-long reader of fantasy and science fiction and a fan of children's and YA literature. I'm also a homeschooling parent, a martial artist (Aikido) and a bona-fide computer geek. I've been the Fantasy and Science Fiction category organizer for the Cybils awards for the last two years. My publishing company, Imaginator Press, currently publishes The Remin Chronicles middle-grade fantasy series, written by my husband Nick Ruth.
