Mom's Review:
One of the most fun things about the Harry Potter books is the mysteries, and this book has plenty of them. The story is as rich and exciting as the first one and the characters continue to develop. For example, Hermione shows that she doesn't mind breaking the rules when it suits her purpose. The addition of several humorous characters - Gilderoy Lockhart and Dobby the house elf - enhance the story and provide comic relief from the tension. Overall, an excellent book that lives up to expectations. One again, there are some scenes that may be too intense for younger children.
