This is a good book, though not as good as the others, based on several points. One of them is that for half the book it is very confusing that it seems like Davyn is in two places at once. It is explained eventually but it's confusing for a while. Another reason is because this book seems just very tragic. But all together it is a fairly good book. The only thing I can say is that I hope in one of these books, the group that sets out in book 1 is reunited: Nearra, Davyn, Elidor, Sindri and Catriona.
