Mom's Review:I loved this book. It's a unique and imaginative fantasy that resonates with the theme of independence of thought and action. Lottie and Lewis each demonstrates his or her own brand of independence; Lottie wears pajamas to school and Lewis refuses to talk to anyone except Lottie. LightLand is a fascinating world; it's made up of the memories of Lottie and Lewis and others, yet we are told it's not a dream, it's a real place.
