Another day, another key, another exciting adventure in the House. Although both are within the House, the Far Reaches are as different from the Lower House as the greedy Grim Tuesday is different from the slothful Mister Monday. Once again, Garth Nix displays amazing creativity in developing a world full of strange and interesting things and people. Arthur sets himself apart from this world by his compassion; by actually caring about the people he meets, he brings out the best in them and finds unexpected help. This book may be even more exciting than the first one, although it is certainly darker. If you haven't read this series yet, what are you waiting for?
