Fantasy and Science Fiction for Children and Teens
Description:Emma is in trouble again. Against the orders of Master Histal, she goes into the border cave that she has discovered on Argadnel and is suddenly drawn into a strange new world. Surprisingly, the she is not only known in this world but expected, and forced to go on a quest that has been set for her years before. Emma must find four wands, the wands of earth, air, fire, and water, before the evil Druvid Eefa gets them. The fate of a world hangs on the outcome, but the stakes are higher than that for Emma. If she loses, she could lose her memory, her powers, or even her family. If she wins, she could find out more about herself. Mom's Review:This is definitely the best of the Watcher's Quest books. The action is breathtaking, and moves quickly from one situation to another. But more than that, we feel with Emma - her anger, her pain, her love - as she struggles to find herself and to deal with her emotions. As with all the Watcher's Quest books, the worlds are vividly imagined and the characters interesting. All Editions:
