Description:

When Sophie is kidnapped in the middle of the witching hour by a giant, she trembles with fear as the giant bellows, "I am hungry," and begins to eat...Snozzcumbers? She finds out that this giant is the Big Friendly Giant, the BFG. A good thing, too...if any of the other giants had carried her off, she'd soon be dinner. The BFG is a dream blower. He catches dreams and then blows the golden phizzwizards into little children's windows. When she finds out that all the other giants are going to England to gobble up some human beans, she and the BFG decide to formulate a plan.

David's Review:

Good book. Roald Dahl really gets you into the book. Once you start this book, you won't be able to stop. Not only is it gripping, but it's filled with fun as well. And, it's hilarious.
