This summer marks the fifth anniversary of publication of The Dark Dreamweaver. As part of the celebration, we're sponsoring a "Dream Power" creative writing contest. Anyone 14 or under can submit a story on the theme of "Dream Power" (you can interpret the theme any way you want to) for a chance to win an iPod Touch or iTunes gift cards.

Patrick Carman is currently auditioning for his next project, a v-book like Skeleton Creek, but a completely new story, something of a cyber-thriller. They're looking for boys and girls 13-15 (or people who can pass for that age, even if you're older). Anyone who meets the criteria can audition online by uploading a video to the web site. You do have to be 13 years or older to audition.
Yesterday, Nick, Magicyop, and I went to Politics and Prose bookstore in Washington, DC to see Vicky Holmes/Erin Hunter's last appearance on her Sunrise tour. First of all, Politics and Prose is an awesome bookstore, and if you're ever in Washington DC you should visit it!
