Military? Me??
Seriously, can you guys see me in the military? I certainly can't XP
But it's something I've started to consider.
What I want to do with my life is become a linguist and travel a lot. When I told a neighbor this they said "Look into the military." When I told Eric this today at lunch, along with my neighbor's suggestion, he said "Navy."
It really does seem like a great idea. I mean, they'd pay for me to go to college and everything. Plus I'd get so many other benefits. It would certainly help me live my dreams. What I don't like is that the government would pretty much own me. But at the same time I'd be serving my country.
Pluuuss Krystal and Eric are going to be doing training over the summer and I could join them *winkwinknudgenudge* (But I'll do that anyways even if I decide not to join the military XD)
So what do you guys think? Should I? :/

Yeah, it's not really like I have to make the decision now. I still have school for two years, so there's plenty of time to think about it.
I'm really not sure how I feel about it. I mean, I have all these dreams but no idea how to accomplish them, and all of a sudden here's the (seemingly) perfect solution! But at the same time, it's a whole new scary world full of risks and challenges. What I'd like to know is, would it be worth it?

They're not necessarily going to break me, because I'm going to obey orders. If I willingly enlist in the Army, I'm not going to put up a fight if they want me to do something. You might wanna do the same if you join.

Only you can decide what would help you pursue your dreams. I can only say for someone like me it would be a bad joke, but you aren’t me. They will own you – while you’re in - & after you’re out if you aren’t careful what you sign - & I couldn’t handle that – nor could I accept being told what to do day & night, day after day after day. Top it all off with – I simply don’t think like a soldier (or sailor - & I get seasick).
