By The Way is a great song and there are the rap verses. But the song is amazing. However, I hate fully rap songs and all mainstream rap.
And screamo's pretty good, if the singer/screamer is good, I just prefer my Screamo with some singing, too.
However, I'd take hardcore punk yelling over screamo screams anyday.

Well, um, I listen to Rage Against the Machine and reaaaally old Billy Talent stuff. They have some rapping vocals, so it doesn't actually bother me that much like it used to. XD
Screamo is also fine with me... especially if that screamer is Benjamin Kowalewicz. :D

No, for the most part. Sometimes rap has merit in that it has a neat flow, but the style is usually just abused. Screamo is just... weird.

Punk yelling. That sounds funny...XP
Anyway, I had to go really fast when I said what I voted, so I'm going to expand what I said. There can be a little yelling/rap in a song without hurting it too much. I mean, I still like a bunch of Higurashi songs where they yell and scream and laugh evilly in the middle. (I do think that's a bit different, though...). I like the song Stronger by Kanye West, which is listed as rap, but I don't think it's that distateful. (Well, slightly cleaned, but language in songs is a different issue. xD) But I usually hate rap, and like Starry said, screamo gives me a headache.
Like the second Death Note opening. BLEEEEHHHH. I hate it SOOOO much.
