*sighs* I am in for an agonizing day.

First, I got no sleep last night because Cece (one of my dogs) was barking her head off just when my mom came downstairs, and I couldn't fall asleep until like 2:00.

And then my dad works in the ER, so they obviously need people to work today, and my dad got the day shift (7 to 3). But he might not get home until 6 because a lot of people come in on Christmas. He actually had to leave a little early since they called him at like 5:30. So we're waiting until he gets home for presents.

Oh, well. I'm a glass half-full kind of person, so it shouldn't be too bad. =)

Me and my sister attempted to wake my parents up by having me play Reveille on the trumpet while she played a drum accompaniment but I stopped after playing three notes cause I was laughing too hard to continue.

Then later I found out I'd gotten a RENT DVD and I Am America (And So Can You!) Happy Lakey is happy.

I got explorers of sky, super mario bros wii, i tunes gift card, mor gift cards, lottery tickets (its a tradition ^^') epic stuffs

I got this epic 3-D drawing pad that comes with these glasses so that when you put them on it looks 3-D! =D Also got a new epic digital camera, aand one or two other things I forgot. XD It's funny- the one year I don't bother making a list is the year where I get better presents *shrugs*

Just woke up, and we finished opening presents. :P

I really didn't want much this year, but my mom asked me if I wanted an iPod Touch, and after some thought, I said 'sure', so... that was pretty much my big Christmas present this year. ^^

And I got some clothes and a calendar. I also got some CDs (The Doors and The Who) and a Pink Floyd shirt during Hanukkah.

Cmoon: A PlayStation 3 - it's a video game console ^^
And, lol, yeah, I'm a total freak, but I was flipping out when I saw that I was actually holding Anderson Cooper's autograph in my hands! XD

crescent: Well after checking again I not know I also got a few of the original Nancy Drew books, a 1000 piece puzzle and these epic tattoos that look like To-Do lists with lines on them, so when you put them on your hand you just write in whatever reminder in pen on your hand on the 'list' and this awesome wallet with cool designs on it (I've never had a cool looking wallet before, Lol) aand a PEZ dispenser (already ate all the candies) XD

Isn’t tomorrow Whining Day? My cat’s healthy again & my power stayed on, so I may not have anything to whine about - & that’s really saying something for me. But if I go out to clear snow off porches & car, that could change.

Daysi: I was a Nancy Drew addict when I was a kid, but I read one of the newer ones a few years ago & didn’t like it. I might not like the originals now, either, so I won’t try them. We used to close curtains, hang blankets over windows to darken the house & play Nancy Drew mystery when I was in grade school. Maybe it’s too bad I don’t still have those original 36 books – with the book jackets on them. Oh well, I sold them when I moved away from Los Angeles. If I’d stored them at my mom’s house, they’d be gone like my school yearbooks. I suspect my brother had something to do with that. My mother would never have gotten rid of them. She didn’t even remember that they were there.

Oo-oo, puzzle – I love puzzles. Haven’t done one in ages.
What’s your PEZ dispenser? Is it a character or something?

I guess the only things I’ve gotten so far – besides a recovered kitty – were 2 new pairs of shearling-lined suede mocs – bought with money from my mom. I did get a bonus from work & one of the attorneys gave Rebecca & me Wal-Mart gift cards for $100. I may have to get creative with that since I don’t find many of my usual purchases at Wal-Mart. They just don’t carry much that I eat or use from day to day besides produce. Well, I guess I can get a few handfuls of my eye drops & see if they carry the wireless keyboard I may want. That could about use it up.

Tonight - Christmas dinner. Yum.

Wow, I'm so surprised that people still read Nancy Drew books. I used to love them but didn't even know they were still around.

Spottedshadow: I agree with Cmoon about your dad. My mom was in the hospital for the last week and a half, starting with the emergency room, so I'm particularly grateful this holiday season for the doctors and nurses who work so hard and help people even on weekends and holidays. They are really heroes.

I got a Wii-fit Plus, which I wanted, but I'm too tired tonight to try it out! My best present was one that I really wanted, a CD of songs performed by Magicyop, with a few of them of Magicyop and Nick singing together. They've been working on it for me.

Sheila: Awh, that's so sweet! I love getting just what you wanted when it's something you really want. *gently pokes bass*

Sheila: I think there are still new Nancy Drew books. A couple of years ago there was a satire written about Nancy & her friends all grown up. She’s divorced from Ned & George is gay. It was a little strange but kind of fun to read. I can’t remember the name, but could probably find it if anyone wants.

Cmoon and Sheila:I've had it for two years, so it's had a good lifespan. I accidentally sat on it for 8 hours during a road trip this summer and ever since then it's had a big black spot on the screen D: I guess today it just decided to...poof...but otherwise it was a good christmas ^^'
