Upcoming Warriors Books

Got this information on Kate’s Blog – verified it on Amazon.

Night Whispers - November 23

Crookedstar's Promise - July 5th, 2011

The first SkyClan manga also comes out July 5th. (!!!)
It's called -
Warriors: SkyClan and the Stranger #1: The Rescue

Also on the blog, Dawnwing said:

"Hey, Kate, can you tell us if Thrushpelt from Bluestar's Prophecy gets his cameo in Night Whispers? Back when Vicky was doing the storyline, an adult fan asked her on Facebook about Thrushpelt. She said she might work in a cameo of him… did it actually happen? Do we see him again?"

I’d love for Thrushpelt to reappear from StarClan. He was a sweetie.

And SkyClan manga!!!! Woo-hoo!!!!

What? No interest?

cmoon, I would love to

cmoon, I would love to discuss the upcoming Warriors books with you. I would revel in the questions and theories and bouncing of ideas.
unfortunately, I only just today got my hands on SkyClan's Destiny, so I clearly have some catching up to do.
However, I am really excited for Crookedstar's promise! I love the super editions, and Crookedstar has intrigued me ever since I read Cats of The Clans. I'm probably more excited for it than Night Whispers!

Yay!! Night Whispers! :D But

Yay!! Night Whispers! :D

But I've fallen behind on Seekers I think. The last one I read was the third, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I think the most recent one that came out was the fifth?!

And I can't wait to read Crookedstar's Promise. I think Crookedstar was a wise and powerful but little-known (to us) leader. I feel like we never got to know him quite as well as Bluestar, Tallstar, Brokenstar, or Nightstar.

Sunbeam: Not to worry. I’m still trying to finish (dare I say it) Bluestar’s Prophecy. And it took me a long time to get through the SkyClan book. Not much to discuss, really, though. Just reporting dates I saw. I feel the same about the Crookedstar book.

Does anyone else think that

Does anyone else think that they main series got a little bit out of whack near the end of the 3rd series? Or that it seems to have gotten better with the 4th series?
I don't think I'm spoiling anything...

Here’s a little exchange from

Here’s a little exchange from Kate’s blog – No Spoilers, so I resurrected this forum to put it on:

"Hollysnow says:

I wanted to ask you about something on pg. 140, seeing as you wrote the book. This takes place when Jayfeather is treating Lionblaze after he fights the fox:
[Jayfeather snorted, and started bundling away the herbs he'd unpacked from his store.]
“Thanks, Jay,” Lionblaze murmured.
Warriors don’t abbreviate their names like that, and it really surprised me. :3 Fans will abbreviate warrior cat’s names, but I’ve never seen something like that in one of the novels. Did you put that there because Lionblaze was tired, or was it a mistake? I’m not trying to be picky, I was just curious.
Anyway, I just wanted to point that out to you. Have a nice day!

I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before! Shortening each other’s names seems like the most natural thing in the world. I guess I’ve know Jay, Lion and Holly since they were kits and I feel closer to them than I did to Fire and Gray (plus “Fire” and “Gray” doesn’t sound quite right)."

Also, I haven’t finished it - & it’s not really a spoiler – Did Thrushpelt make it into Night Whispers?
