Hello, good people! It's that time again: time to submit your questions for next month's Erin Hunter chat. You will have the chance to chat live in real time with the Erins, but because the Erin Hunter chats tend to be pretty crowded, we started asking for people to submit questions in advance, to give everyone a chance to have a question answered.

Our next Erin Hunter chat has been scheduled for August 14, 2010. Victoria (Vicky) Holmes, Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Tui Sutherland, who write the Warriors and Seekers books under the name Erin Hunter, will be here to chat with fans and answer questions.

The spirits of these three cats appeared in Long Shadows. However, I was a little mystified on who they originally were. Were they ancient lake cats, past clan cats or tribe cats? Can someone help me out on this?

On June 27, 2009, the four writers who write the Warriors and Seekers series under the pseudonym Erin Hunter visited Wands and Worlds for an author chat. The four "Erins," as we call them - Victoria Holmes, Cherith Baldry, Kate Cary, and Tui Sutherland, are Wands and Worlds favorites, and this is the sixth Erin Hunter chat that we've hosted.

Yet another theory! Sorry, I can't help it, I only finished Surise yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it.

So, the 'Fourth Apprentice.' What does that mean? At first you might think it has something to do with being the 4th after Holly, Lion and Jay. But how about this:

Firestar has trained 3 apprentices: Cinderpelt, Cloudtail and Brambleclaw.

Right, this is a bit long-winded, so bear with me.

You've probably noticed how the ancient clan are connected with the current Clans, right? Especially the 'Three'. Jayfeather is connected to Jay's Wing, Dove's Wing was a clue for the upcoming Dovekit. (Lionblaze I'm not so sure about, but that's beside the point...)

The Erins should give that poor cat a break! Nothing good ever seems to go her way. As she said in Sunset:

"I have lost my kits, the one cat I loved, and my calling as a medicine cat."

So, yeah. How'd you come up with yours?

Yesterday, Nick, Magicyop, and I went to Politics and Prose bookstore in Washington, DC to see Vicky Holmes/Erin Hunter's last appearance on her Sunrise tour. First of all, Politics and Prose is an awesome bookstore, and if you're ever in Washington DC you should visit it!

Vicky Holmes will be in the U.S. next month for a tour to promote the release of Sunrise, the sixth and final book of Warriors: The Power of Three! She just sent me her preliminary schedule; more details will be coming soon. Here are the dates and locations of the tour:

The latest Author Tracker tells us that The Sight will be available on line this month. FOR FREE. I didn't put the 2nd paragraph here because it has a BIG SPOILER about The Sight if someone hasn't read it. I think that was a BAD thing for them to do. BAD!!
